Rock and Pop Acts Added to the 2022 Iowa State Fair Grandstand

Country music, Christian rock, R & B and comedians have been announced for the 2022 Iowa State Fair Grandstand. Today, two more acts are added to the stellar lineup – pop star Demi Lovato on Sunday, August 14th, and heavy metal/alternative group Disturbed with special guest Chevelle on Friday, August 19th.

Grammy nominated artist Demi Lovato spans the pop, pop rock and R&B genres with daring bravery and vulnerability. The actor turned singer had two number one singles, "Anyone" and "I Love Me," in 2020, and they released their seventh album in in 2021 called Dancing with the Devil.

The band Disturbed creates their own unique style by challenging convention, breaking boundaries and pushing rock music. Self-taught rock trio Chevelle has been rocking out since the mid-90s and will join Disturbed for their first Iowa State Fair Grandstand appearance.

Iowa State Fair Grandstand tickets are already on sale for the following concerts in 2022: Skillet with special guest Dante Bowe (Thursday, Aug. 11); Brooks & Dunn with special guest Alex Miller (Friday, Aug. 12); Nelly with special guest Ginuwine (Saturday, Aug. 13); Comedians John Crist and friends with special guest Dusty Slay (Wednesday, Aug. 17); Kane Brown with special guest Jessie James Decker (Thursday, Aug. 18); Keith Urban with special guest Ingrid Andress (Saturday, Aug. 20); Carrie Underwood with special guest Adam Sanders (Sunday, Aug. 21). Tickets can be purchased at www.iowastatefair.org; admission to the Fair is not included, convenience fees apply.

BEWARE of THIRD PARTY TICKET SALES: Only iowastatefair.org and etix.com sell official online tickets for the Iowa State Fair Grandstand. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee tickets purchased from other sources are valid and we cannot assist with refunds or exchanges from third party ticket sellers. Children under the age of 2 do not need a Grandstand ticket. Please see concert maps for reserved and seated or standing pit area. Convenience charges apply to all tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include Fair admission.
